Year after year
From a simple end-of-year recital to a dance show
The end-of-year festivals began as a small showcase for the families. School year after school year, with the students' daily work and the artistic direction and choreography of Maribel Bover, they have grown into a true dance show that fills the Girona Municipal Theatre every year.
Every ballet and jazz student takes part — participation is optional and always something to look forward to — and many of them premiere their first soloist roles there. It is the moment when the whole school recognises itself on stage: from the youngest in Children's Ballet to the Advanced Ballet students.
And the stage is nothing out of the ordinary here: artists such as Tamara Rojo and international companies also rehearse in our studios for the Castell de Peralada Festival and the Cap Roig Festival.
